Acceptable use policy

You may

• Audit public pages of sites you own, run, or have permission to work on.
• Audit public pages of other sites for research, such as a competitor's pricing page, at a normal pace.
• Use tactics and examples as references for your own design and copy.

You may not

• Audit pages behind a login, on private networks, or that the site's robots rules or terms forbid.
• Use the service to overload, scan for vulnerabilities in, or attack any site.
• Copy another site's copy, images or design verbatim from the examples. Adapt the idea; do not lift the work.
• Resell raw tactic or example data, or scrape the tactic library in bulk outside the documented tools.
• Share or publish your API key, or create extra free workspaces to get around limits.
• Publish claims of a numeric result from Liftwire output unless the tactic's evidence grade is measured, and then only with the context reported.

Site owners

If your site appears in our examples and you want it removed, use the takedown form. The library stops capturing a site as soon as a request is received.

Enforcement

We may suspend or revoke keys that break this policy. Report misuse to [email protected].
