# Remove navigation bar from landing pages

**Evidence grade: Tested.** Outside evidence supports it: a published experiment, or customer sites where verify_change found the change live long enough ago to count as kept.

Observed on 3 corpus sites. Page types: landing, signup.

## Why it works

Navigation bars provide alternative paths away from the conversion goal, creating distractions that increase cognitive load and reduce focus on the primary call to action. Removing navigation eliminates these exit routes and keeps visitors moving through the intended funnel. A single-purpose page without navigational options makes the conversion path clearer and reduces decision paralysis.
